Financial Assistance

Your local Child Care Resource & Referral agency has professional development funds available (based on funding from the Illinois Department of Human Services) to help defray the expense of certain credential and accreditation fees. CCR&Rs may also have funds available for college tuition, to attend a professional conference, and/or for in-service training/consultation. Applications, funding levels and requirements may vary, so please contact your local CCR&R for more information.

The Gateways to Opportunity Scholarship Program also has funds available for the Child Development Credential (CDA), Child Care Professional (CCP), Illinois Director Credential (IDC) and college tuition.
